Regarding the title of a sculpture seen at the 13th Havana Biennial, i finally want to post some of my pictures i shot during the trip in april. One has to say that Cuba really is a paradise for photographers (…and i mean photographers like you and me, not wanting to know what a professional one says). There are motives literally on every street corner. May it the colorful walls of the houses, the old-timer cars in the streets or, above all, the people, doing these and that amongst the hustle of the city.
I guess there is much more to say about Cuba nowadays. About the political and economical situation and the peoples live full of deprivation. But i’m not a do-gooder, i’m just a traveller, an observer and watcher. I want to show what i have seen and let things act. The result is a vibrant and eclectic mix of old and new, past and future, of live and death.
