Life is not a straight line that constantly leads upwards…

....it is rather a zigzag line that can run in all directions. Up, down or simply straight ahead for a long time.

The fact that I still haven’t found a new job is bothering me more than I thought lately. I have to admit that I imagined the whole process would be easier. But I guess I did the math without the german HR departments. I have so much to offer (i believe, lol), but all I get is refusals. That is, in fact, a bit demotivating and disillusioning.

At the same time I don’t want to complain. On one hand I chose it that way, on the other hand I know that life is not a straight line that constantly leads upwards. It’s rather a zigzag line that can run in all directions. Up, down or simply straight ahead for a long time. And that is what makes life interesting…

Period.

What actually makes this time easier for me is my “superpower”, which is that i don’t get bored easily. I always find things that need to be done or that I can deal with. For example, recently I took part in an online workshop that the owner of the fantastic painting studio in my neighborhood organized and guided through.

The workshop was about creating a vision board, a kind of collage with pictures and texts or words that speak to you and thereby visualize an image of your own future vision. I couldn’t help but taking part, because first of all I love creating collages, and, as a matter of fact, the subject areas of future and personal growth are currently my main topics.

In any case, I’m very happy with the result. What do you think?

The vision board is now hanging near my desk and I have to look at it every now and then. And that is actually the sense of it: through the subconscious perception of the words and images, the topics on the board should be internalized. And in this way the visions of today become reality in the future!
